These healthy homemade fudgesicles are a huge hit in our house with us chocolate lovers! 😋
The kids and I love to make homemade smoothie popsicles, and this chocolate fudgesicle recipe is a definite favorite for all of us. They’re rich, creamy, chocolatey and so delicious. They’re naturally sweetened with pure maple syrup and dates, making them free of any refined sugars – I always love that!
Here’s how you can make them at home too.
Healthy Homemade Fudgesicles Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can coconut milk (14oz)
- 1 cup additional milk of choice – cow, cashew, almond all work well (Optional, but helps to stretch the recipe to make more pops!)
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Dash of salt
- 2-3 pitted dates (optional for added sweetness)
Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth, pour in popsicle molds, freeze (for at least 4 hours), and enjoy! We’ve been using these popsicles molds* I purchased off Amazon, and the’ve been great.
This recipe (with the added milk) should make 8-10 popsicles.
I hope you enjoy these as much as we do!
Note: I buy all of the ingredients for these popsicles from Thrive Market. It’s an online market that offers members wholesale prices on healthy, high quality, mostly organic products.
