The kids and I have been on a roll making homemade popsicles this summer. These pineapple mango popsicles are our latest hit.
All the popsicles we make are natural (made with fruit/veggies and superfoods), so I don’t mind letting the kids have one at breakfast time. They start the day off happily and healthfully, and I get a few extra quite minutes to sip my coffee.
These are so tropical tasting and perfect for summer. The recipe also makes for a delicious smoothie. Add in a little rum and you’ve got a fruity tropical cocktail.
Healthy & Natural Pineapple Mango Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pineapple*
- 1 cup mango*
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
*I use frozen chunks of pineapple and mango, but it doesn’t have to be.
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender (we use and love Vitamix). Blend until smooth, then pour into your favorite popsicle molds (we use these ones) and place in the freezer. Give them at least 4 hours to fully freeze. Enjoy!
