Homemade Granola: Three Tasty Recipes

I just learned how easy it is to make homemade granola. Have you made it before? It’s so quick and simple, and such a money saver!

Here are the three batches I’ve made so far: 1. Nutty Maple 2. Peanut Butter, 3. Dark Chocolate, Almond & Coconut.

Easy Homemade Granola Recipes

Recipe 1: Nutty Maple

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons flaxseeds (I used ground flax)
  • 1/3 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • A few dashes of cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all of the above ingredients with the melted coconut oil.
  3. Toss all ingredients until well combined, then pour out onto a parchment paper covered baking sheet. Spread the mixture out evenly, but not too much (you want some chunky pieces).
  4. Place in the oven for 14 minutes.
  5. Once baked, let cool completely before placing in an airtight container.

Recipe 2: Peanut Butter

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons flaxseeds (I used ground flax)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • A few dashes of cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all of the above ingredients with the melted coconut oil.

  2. In a large bowl, combine all of the above ingredients with the melted coconut oil.
