This smoothie right here 😋 The kids and I have been making this smoothie on repeat for a few weeks now, and this one is a sure keeper. Every time I ask the kids if they want to make a smoothie, Avaya yells out, “Yeah, a purple one!” We finally switched it up from our usual green smoothie, and this açaí smoothie is our current favorite.
This açaí smoothie is loaded with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and tons of antioxidants. Truly, with ingredients like spinach, banana, blueberries, chia, cauliflower, collagen/protein, and yogurt, it has it all. A powerhouse your body will thank you for, and it tastes delicious!
Super Antioxidant Açaí Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1/2 banana (I take from my frozen banana stash)
- 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice
- 1 cup (~1 large handful) fresh spinach
- 1/3 cup blueberries (I use frozen wild blueberries)
- 1 scoop vanilla collagen powder or protein powder
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon açaí powder
- 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup milked cashews (or any unsweetened nut/oat milk)
- 3-4 cubes ice (you can skip the ice if you’re fruit is frozen!)
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend well, and enjoy.
If you’re looking for a great blender, I love Vitamix (like this one). Vitamix blenders are definitely pricey, but in my opinion, worth the investment. I’ve had my Vitamix now for nearly 15 years, use it almost every day, and it has never disappointed. I’ve used it to make everything from smoothies, to baby food, soups, and ice cream.
